The "I Confess to Pick. Click. Give. 2012" contest is wrapping up with our third winner chosen.
Congratulations to Justin Andrews of Fairbanks! He's the final winner of this year's "I Confess to Pick. Click. Give." contest. His $500 donation will go to the Alaska Legal Services Corporation, because, as he said in his entry: "money should never have to stand in the way of justice."
Of course, you can still Pick. Click. Give. and donate a portion of your PFD when you apply online. You can also search the database of this year's Pick. Click. Give. nonprofits in Alaska to help with your decision. It's not too late to give!
Plus you can still confess on the Pick. Click. Give. Facebook page and use other social media including Twitter to spread the word about your intention to give and this important effort.
Justin is a newly-licensed attorney in Fairbanks, serving as a judicial law clerk for a Superior Court judge in town.
Says Justin, "I love Alaska dearly, and decided to go to law school because I felt it would be the best way for me to help make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of others. The Alaska Legal Services Corporation shares this vision. The road to justice can be long, difficult, and, unfortunately, extremely expensive. ALSC is there to help; offering free legal assistance and educational clinics to low-income Alaskans across the state. I supported the ALSC through Pick. Click. Give. because I believe in liberty and justice for all."
Thanks to everyone who picked, clicked and gave already. If you haven't yet, now's the time to do it!
