The Alaska FFA Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture Every year, with your generous financial support we can help advance FFA and promote agriculture in Alaska. Our organization strives to continue providing leadership training, community service, educational workshops, student scholarships, building new programs and hosting career development events at our State FFA Leadership Convention. The FFA is a dynamic youth organization dedicated to prepare students for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. Local, state and national activity and award programs provide opportunities to apply knowledge and skills acquired through agricultural education. For over 40 years, the Alaska FFA has provided students across the state with valuable educational opportunities and continues to develop the next generation of leaders in the agricultural and natural resource industry which is reflected in our motto.

FFA was founded in 1928 as the Future Farmers of America, in 1988 the organization changed it's name to the National FFA Organization to represent the growing diversity of agriculture. Today, over 600,000 student members are engaged in a wide range of agricultural education activities, leading to over 300 career opportunities in the food, fiber and natural resources industry.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The success of our organization is due to very generous contributions from people and organizations like yours, many individuals have gone out of the way to lend assistance throughout the years. The Alaska FFA is the premier school-based, member-led youth organization. That’s the beauty of supporting FFA as we work together to grow leaders, build communities and strengthen agriculture. Please consider PICK. CLICK. GIVE for the Alaska FFA Association.
The difference you can make will allow us to continue conducting the many student leadership activities we host throughout the year culminating in the annual State FFA Leadership Convention, our largest event every year. Students travel from across the state to compete in over 14 career development events. These events bridge the gap between what is being taught in the classroom and what the students will need for successful future careers in the food, fiber, environmental, and natural resources industries. Our Career Development Events (CDE’s) include Environmental & Natural Resources, Agriculture Mechanics, Public Speaking, Job Interview, Parliamentary Procedure, Marine Technology, Veterinary Science and more. This year we hosted a new event in Environmental & Natural Resources. This CDE incorporates five major areas which are soils, wildlife, aquatics, forestry, and recycling. The winner of each state CDE gets to represent Alaska at the National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Indiana in late October.
Please consider helping support the Alaska FFA. We want to provide all members the opportunity to develop their full potential as young leaders in Alaska. Every gift to Alaska FFA touches lives, opens doors and turns dream into realities. Thank you so much for your generosity.
