Alaska Geographic

About Us

As the nonprofit partner to Alaska's National Parks, Refuges, Forests, and BLM lands, Alaska Geographic connects people to Alaska's public lands.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

Donations to Alaska Geographic help improve access to public lands and life-changing experiences through educational programs for adults and students, leadership programs for local youth, volunteer stewardship projects, and educational materials for visitors to learn more deeply. We work across all of Alaska's National Parks, Refuges, Forests, and BLM lands. More specifically, donations pay for field trip buses, camping gear for youth programs, trail-building projects, research projects, teacher training programs focused on teaching with the outdoors and local projects, internships for local youth working on public lands, and travel for rural youth to attend trainings, conferences, and leadership programs. Learn more about our youth programs at www.arcticyouthambassadors.org and www.chugachchildrensforest.org
