Alaska WildBird Rehabilitation Center

About Us

Our mission is to care for injured, orphaned and sick wild birds with the goal of returning healthy birds back into the wild; and to educate the public about these birds and their habitats. We rescue birds all over Alaska, although the MatSu Valley is our primary source. Our education programs feature a close look at live wild bird ambassadors which participants may never see in nature. The community learns about these birds and their importance within our environment.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

Your donations through Pick.Click.Give directly aid Alaska's wild birds in need, providing funds to purchase food, medical care and housing. From our education programs, the community learns about Alaska's wild birds and ways to ensure safe and healthy places for our wild birds to thrive and daily give us joy with their songs and antics. Caring individuals have made it possible to improve our rehabilitation facilities and to build comfortable and safe housing for our resident education avian ambassadors.
