About Us
The Anchorage Neighborhood Health Center (ANHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and has been in operation since 1974. ANHC serves everyone in the community, regardless of ability to pay or insurance type, with a special focus on those who face extra barriers to accessing care.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Contributions to ANHC from the Pick. Click. Give. Program will support uncompensated care for our patients. Almost all of our patients experience barriers to care - whether due to insurance status, income, or other socio-economic factors. 90% of our patients live in poverty. 42% of our patients have no insurance.
Programs that we offer that rely on charitable contributions include: Diabetes education and management, colo-rectal cancer screenings, and a range of other coordinated services that enable patients to follow their medical and dental providers' orders to become and stay healthy.
