About Us
The mission of the Friends of the Animal Shelter is to support the Valdez Animal Shelter in its effort to find lifetime homes for all unwanted companion animals who pass through its doors and to help finance the sterilization of shelter and community pets, with a goal of reaching a day with no homeless pets. Our area of coverage has expanded beyond Valdez, and now provide financial support for Cordova and Copper Center and surrounding areas.

Helps us to maintain our spay and neuter programs in Valdez and Copper Center and surrounding areas. Assist in providing services to Valdez Animal Shelter to enhance helping animals find forever homes.
