About Us
The mission of JDIA is to promote youth hockey as a recreational sport within the City and Borough of Juneau, in Juneau, Alaska. As part of this mission JDIA also supports the development of competitive high school sanctioned level hockey teams, along with the education and training of development and advanced hockey skills for players and coaches.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Pick.Click.Give contributions help make it possible for purchases of small hockey gear bags for our Introduction to Hockey Program. The bags include: small hockey sticks, body padding and helmets. We also purchase hockey pucks for all age groups. We have had over 50 boys and girls participate in the Intro to Hockey Program. We need to replace damaged gear and purchase new complete rental bags.
This funding helps JDIA make hockey more affordable.
By receiving funding through the Pick Click and Give program last year, we were able to purchase the following:
Rental equipment for the Intro to Hockey Program. We had so many participants this year that we need to purchase more.
