Through the Charitable Contribution Program (Pick.Click.Give.), Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) recipients may direct a portion or all of their PFD to qualified educational organizations, charitable organizations, or community foundations. Agencies wishing to be considered for inclusion on the list of qualified organizations for the 2020 PFD must submit this application and the required documentation in a timely manner.

Required Documentation:

The following documentation is required for an application to be considered compete:

  1. Completed application form.
  2. IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt letter of notification.
  3. If a financial audit of your organization was required by the federal government for the fiscal year of your Internal Revenue Form 990, you must submit a copy of the audited financial statements complete with the independent auditor's report.
  4. If required, IRS Form 990, 990EZ, or 990N (e-postcard) for the most recently completed fiscal year that ended prior to January 1. If the 990 / 990 EZ / 990N has not been completed for that fiscal year, provide the IRS granted extension plus the IRS 990 / 990EZ / 990N for the previous fiscal year.

Required Payment:

Each application must be accompanied by a $250 nonrefundable fee paid by check or money order payable to The Alaska Community Foundation. The phrase Pick.Click.Give. 2020 must be written on the memo line. This fee was established by the Alaska Legislature to fund application and disbursement processing, nonprofit education through The Foraker Group, and PFD-Pick.Click.Give. webpage administration by The State of Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend Department.

Certification:

New for 2019:: We no longer require applicants to mail their application with two certification signatures. On the certification page you will be asked to insert your name, location and title and your signature in the signature panel. This means you can submit the entire application online by uploading your documents and using the payment form - thus avoiding printing and mailing the completed application to our office.

Application Submission:

Your organization's complete application, required documentation, and fee payment must be submitted or postmarked no later than March 31, 2019.
