Alaska Animal Advocates

Alaska Animal Advocates is dedicated to enriching the lives of homeless animals in Alaska. In order to do this, we place these animals in loving foster environments. We address medical concerns, spay or neuter, micro-chip, vaccinate, and offer training as is needed. Our Community Outreach Program provides food and financial assistance for medical costs to families who are in crisis. Alaska Animal Advocates believes that every animal deserves a loving home, for his entire life.

Alaska Animal Advocates has a dream that, one day, there will be no homeless animals; no animals lacking food or medical care; and no more animals suffering abuse or isolation. It is our goal to provide the resources necessary to make this dream a reality. Our hope is to create a sanctuary for homeless pets, particularly difficult to adopt animals, and facilitate the change that will allow them to become whole, both physically and emotionally. The volunteers of Alaska Animal Advocates already have the heart for this mission, but we do not have the financial resources to accomplish this goal. AAA envisions a one-stop facility that would house animals, provide medical care, behavior modification and training, grooming, and a food bank.
