The Alaska Center for Collaborative Child Therapy promotes week-long therapeutic, educational, and social event camps for children with special needs and their families. The campers - children ages 4-12 - receive individualized therapy for six hours a day. Therapists from different disciplines work together as a team to achieve breakthroughs in communication, socialization, and behavior for the campers. The campers families receive education, respite, and time to interact with other families facing similar challenges.
