Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center exists to provide quality services and facilities to meet the needs of seniors in our community through effective stewardship and program development.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center uses Pick.Click.Give. donated funds for both operational and program-specific expenses.
The Center uses funds donated through this program to offset the rising costs of operations for several grant-funded programs. As a non-profit, the Center operates and offers several important community services, such as nutritious daily lunches, that cost far more than can be covered by grant funds. Donations received through programs like the Pick.Click.Give. program greatly help to offset the cost of providing meals to the over 200 seniors and adults with disabilities that daily rely on the nutritious meals provided by our lunch program.
Additional programs offered at the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center that either heavily or solely rely on donated funds include the Adult Day Services, Health Outreach, Transportation, Activities, Wellness and Exercise and Meals-on-Wheels programs. The continued support of our Alaskan community helps to ensure that these programs remain available to enhance the quality of life for those who need extra help and for our elders. Our thanks to all who have donated to the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center and to those who will in the future!
