Individual giving to our organization is special to the Girl Scouts because it shows a personal commitment to the work we do for girls. The Permanent Fund Dividend is a special gift to Alaskans, sharing the wealth of our state among the residents. For Alaskans to select our organization among thousands on a list, while sharing their annual gift from the state, means so much to our staff, volunteers and girls. With this funding, we are able to offer more financial aid to girls, more camp scholarships to families in need and more assistance to troops who give back to our community through service projects.
