How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Festival Fairbanks was formed in 1980 and officially incorporated in 1982. We have been involved in planning and facilitating various projects related to historic Fairbanks and Interior Alaska, beautification, and tourism and economic development for more than three decades.
Some of our work includes capital projects constructed as lasting tributes to significant historic anniversaries such as the Golden Heart Plaza for the 25th Anniversary of Statehood, Barnette’s Landing First Avenue Beautification Project in recognition of the founding of Fairbanks, and the William Ransom Wood Centennial Bridge recognizing the 100th Anniversary of the City of Fairbanks.
Festival Fairbanks often serves as a catalyst and facilitator for economic development in Fairbanks and Interior Alaska by creating an environment where the public and private sector can work together for the common good of the people.
Our regular Programs include:
A corridor has been created to connect people with activities and businesses located along the Chena River. We are now designing Chena Riverwalk North.
