Junior Achievement brings the world of work into the classroom to provide hands-on, relevant curriculum to young people to help connect education to future success. JA programs emphasize financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship to build an educated, skilled workforce for the future of Alaska. JAA programs help young people own their economic success by encouraging them to stay in school, set goals for the future, and seek out the skills and opportunities to help them be successful. Studies show that students who have had JA earn 20% higher incomes, pay off student loan debt faster (<10 years), are 30% more likely to possess as secondary degree, and 93% graduate on time from high school.
