How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
KSTK serves as the hub for everything Wrangell. KSTK is the only source for daily news and local information in Wrangell and provides the community with a traditional radio broadcast signal, web streaming and a website that serves as the core location to find out everything that is happening in and around town. KSTK delivers the Emergency Alert System signal to Wrangell. This national public warning service works in conjunction with state and local authorities to provide Wrangell with information on what to do in the event of an emergency and offers AMBER alerts as well as severe weather warnings. KSTK offers a voice for Wrangell and encourages community involvement. KSTK features a variety of volunteer music programs and locally produced informative modules such as Tlingit Phrase of the Week that teaches the Tlingit language, and the Recreation and Road Report that provides updates on road construction, logging activity, and nature and wildlife sightings on the island. Your donation keeps Wrangells essential Emergency Alert System and news service available and helps enrich lives through unique local programming.
