About Us

We provide a head start to families with children who need it most.

How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference

Research shows that by the time children begin kindergarten, significant differences in the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for school success already exist between children from low-income families and their better off peers. This so called "opportunity gap," which challenges many children who have grown up in poverty or who have experienced trauma, homelessness or other risks to their healthy development, does not have to exist. The challenges that at-risk children face can be overcome. All children can realize their potential for success in school and life.
At Kids Corps, we provide a comprehensive Head Start child development program for at risk children and their families. By "comprehensive" services, we mean that we work with families and our community to address every challenge to school readiness a child may face. Our services include health and developmental screenings, nutritious meals, referrals to community resources and a high quality pre-school program that nurtures each childs cognitive, physical and social/emotional development. At Kids Corps we are intensely focused on making sure no child leaves a Kids Corps Head Start classroom for kindergarten with undetected, untreated health or dental problems, developmental disability or social/emotional challenge. We are dedicated to providing high quality interactions, experiences and instruction for children that lead to school readiness. We strive to lift up parent/caregiver success and family well-being.
The difference between a child who enters kindergarten eager and ready to learn and one who feels unprepared is profound. Pick, Click, Give helps each child have the opportunity to learn and succeed at the highest level. Your Pick, Click, Give donation helps pay for vital services & supplies like developmental screenings, bus transportation, nutritious meals and books. From early math and reading skills to confidence and resilience, the abilities children develop through participation in KCIs Head Start program can last a lifetime. Every child has the ability to succeed, and your support shows how, by working together, we can make that success possible.
