How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Mat-Su Services for Children and Adults, Inc. (MSSCA) is an Alaskan non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation located in the Mat-Su Borough. The organization was founded in 1985 by a small group of community volunteers who believed in providing home and community based services for families with young children. Today, MSSCA provides a wide range of services for Mat-Su residents with developmental disabilities of all ages and families with children experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. The individuals we serve experience challenges associated with Downs syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and other disabilities. A core value of MSSCA is to be responsive to the specific needs of each individual and family. Accordingly, we provide a wide variety of services: Infant Learning (children ages birth to three), Residential, (apartment living, family habilitation homes, assisted living homes), Supported Employment (job development, job placement, job site support), Family Support, Respite, Day Habilitation, Case Management, Care Coordination, Nursing, Look At Me (universal child development screening), and Child Passenger Safety. MSSCA will utilize 100% of the Pick.Click.Give. donations received to address the unmet needs of the individuals and families we serve.
