Meals on Wheels Fairbanks

Fairbanks Senior Center's purpose is to make sure no senior goes hungry or without. We administer the only Meals on Wheels program in the Interior. 60,000 meals were delivered last year to seniors throughout the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) community. The senior population is expected to double by 2030 so corresponding senior services are required to meet this need. The Center itself offers lunch, MOW, counseling, a strong wellness program exercise classes, transportation services to appointments and meeting space. Approximately 4,000 seniors take the exercise classes each year and the number is growing.

All of the services offered by the Fairbanks Senior are designed to help seniors remain independent and live at home as long as possible with dignity.
