Hospice supports the client and the family with the emotional, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of dying. This approach enhances quality of life and makes the most of a client's remaining time in whatever place they call home. Seward Area Hospice is a licensed volunteer hospice meeting the non-medical needs of clients and their families with trained staff and volunteers.

The services we provide to our clients and families are free of charge. We do not bill for services and we do not receive money from Medicare or Medicaid since we are a volunteer hospice.
