About Us
The mission of Haven House is: Supporting and empowering people impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault and promoting healthy families. Haven House operates an emergency shelter for women and children and Children's Advocacy Centers (in Homer and Kenai). Haven House provides legal advocates for victims of violence, a Homeless Assistance Program,Transitional Housing Program, a court-mandated batterers group for men, and economic empowerment opportunities for women.

Pick. Click. Give. funds that are contributed to Haven House will go towards providing safety and advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Haven House serves hundreds of women, men and children each year and strives to provide the highest quality of compassionate services. Women and children are provided a safe place to stay, there is a 24/7 crisis line available to adults, children and teens in need, and advocacy services for victims of violence. Child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse and neglect have a safe place to tell their story. Haven House operates a thrift store in which women can obtain job skills training and experience. Haven House is only able to provide these vital services with the generous support of community members and friends.
