The Southeast Alaska State Fair provides a showcase for agricultural and domestic arts, creative arts and crafts, and the opportunity for educational, cross-cultural and social exchange. Through the Fair itself, our many other community events throughout the year, and public use of Fair facilities, we hope to encourage communication, learning, and play.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Your Pick.Click.Give contribution is an excellent way to participate in the Southeast Alaska State Fair and to make a meaningful contribution to quality of life for Southeast Alaskans. The Fair brings top-notch musicians and entertainers to rural audiences. It provides a venue for Alaskans young and old to share their creative achievements, to learn from one another about self-reliance, subsistence, agriculture, and the arts — and to have fun. For 48 years the Southeast Alaska State Fair has brought the diverse people of the communities of Southeast Alaska together to learn from each other. With the logging show and the fishermen’s rodeo, the songwriter showcase and our extensive exhibit program, we come together to celebrate our unique way of life and learn from our friends and neighbors in Southeast Alaska.
Throughout the year, the Fairgrounds are home to some of the biggest events in the region such as the great Alaska Craft Beer and Home Brew Festival, the Haines Community Fishermen's Barbecue, and the Fair itself. The Fairgrounds are home to numerous recreational and educational opportunities throughout the year, including public use trails, a disc golf course, community hockey program, a baseball field, a community garden, and much more. The Fair partners with many community organizations to continue to bring opportunities to learn, play, and explore to people from throughout our region.
Your Pick.Click.Give donation allows the Fair to continue to develop facilities for the public, repair aging rides and booths, and keep admission to events down. Thank you so much for supporting the Fair!
