About Us
Trailside Discovery Camp provides a broad range of outdoor environmental education experiences for students of all ages and from all economic, social, and cultural backgrounds. Trailside Discovery offers a wide array of outdoor programs that allow youth to get back to nature while developing skills relating to science, self, and the world at large. Trailside Discovery is a program of The Alaska Center Education Fund whose mission is to educate and empower Alaskans of all ages to support clean air and water, encourage healthy communities, and become engaged citizens.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
All Pick.Click.Give. donations go straight to our Invest in Youth Scholarship fund, which provides camp scholarships to children who would otherwise not be able to attend. This allows children from all backgrounds to experience the outdoors and learn skills related to science, self, and the world at large. In 2016, we provided scholarships to more then 200 students.
