About Us
We want to address the unmet education needs of Alaskans, improve the availability of access to the CCSC, support the educational efforts of the center staff, enhancing the outdoor recreation program on the BLM and work to protect and improve the ecosystems around the CCSC.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The Friends of the Campbell Creek Science Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the educational programs and initiatives of the Center and addressing unmet science education needs of Alaskans.
While our last year was virtual, it was busy! The center provided programs for 4,442 participants in 202 new interactive and educational programs.
-43 distance learning programs for youth
-30 programs for underserved learners in the 21st Century Program
-43 Alaska Explorer programs
-1200 6th graders attended a virtual Outdoor Days
The Center led programs for learners in 36 Alaskan communities, 22 states and 4 countries.
Your funds will support the Friends mission of ensuring that all Alaskan children have an opportunity to experience and learn about our great outdoors. Thank you for your continued support of our youth.
