Mission Statement
We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome mini pigs in Alaska. We provide education & services in the form of spaying/neutering, nutrition, proper care, vaccination, deworming, hoof & tusks care, and adoptions. We get calls weekly regarding unwanted or abandoned mini pigs that need our help. We are the only rescue for this type in Alaska. Our goal is to rehabilitate the piggies and find them qualified permanent homes. For those that will never find homes, they will live out the rest of their natural lives with us. We also take in all the overflow from our local shelters/pounds for Guinea Pigs, Ferrets, and Rabbits. We also support True North Recovery, AWAIC and AK Family Services for victims escaping domestic violence situations and or seeking substance abuse help. We hold onto their pets until they can get back on their feet.

This is a wonderful time and place to make a qualified charitable contribution to help save animals. We need you! Have you ever heard the saying "it take a village". It really does. We always need donations and support in order to have this service available. What sets up apart from other rescues is we have a program called Bridge the Gap. We have partnered with AWAIC, AK Family Services and True North Recovery. We will take in the pets of people who are escaping domestic violence or seeking treatment for substance abuse. Free of charge. This is a very much needed resource in AK with all time high of DM. Most folks will not seek any treatment if they have to leave their animals behind. We bridge this gap so they can get help. We also take in livestock and overflow from the local animal control. Every dollar counts and we rely on donations to get feed, straw, supplies, vet care and medicines for all the 120+ animals we care for on a daily basis. I believe we are the largest rescue in the state and are always overlooked because we are not the typical dog or cat rescue.
