About Us
Lynn Canal Adventures builds courage, community, and healthy competition through holistic running and outdoor programs for diverse young Alaskans. Initiated thirteen+ years ago as a single, week-long running camp with just 17 teens, our programs have since grown to serve more than 170 youth through middle and high school summer running camps and a winter snowshoe running club. Collaborations with local organizations help ensure our program participants represent the communities we serve. We hang our hats on welcoming young people of all abilities for the chance to build connections with our community and the outdoors, grow and challenge each other, and to have a lot of fun along the way!
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Your donation through Pick.Click.Give. supports our sliding fee registrations, employed across all of our programs. Inherent to our ability to build community, we wouldn’t be able to meet our core value of inclusion without offering programs that are affordable to all. In 2023, 46% of our summer campers took advantage of our sliding scale registration fee and paid half or less than full fee. Your support allows us to continue providing our programs in an affordable manner as well as expand our community as we reach more of Alaska’s diverse youth.
