How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
A little support goes a long way at AEYC Southeast! For every $30 contribution you will sponsor a child in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, placing a book in the hands of a child every month to help them develop a life-long love of reading. Your contribution of $150 will provide books for a child from birth to kindergarten for a total of 60 books in their home library. Parents tell us that each book that arrives is their child's new favorite, to be read over and over again.
Children enrolled in the Imagination Library enter kindergarten with higher language and literacy skills, which is linked to higher reading levels in third grade, leading to higher high school graduation rates. A contribution of $500 sponsors a family literacy night event for up to 100 parents and children. By joining with AEYC to support young children’s early development, you are helping build strong families, safe communities, and most of all healthy, thriving young children. Thanks to your support, we can help ensure children are more prepared for school, are healthier and grow into strong, solid citizens.
