We exist to serve Christ and our community by addressing the physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, and social well-being of all those whom God brings to our doors.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
In 2016 the Fairbanks Rescue Mission served 897 individuals. These men, women and children were provided with safety, warmth, a clean bed, food (over 66,500 meals), kindness and clothing. They were also given opportunity to change the circumstances of their lives through case management and three residential programs which, in addition to case management, offer job and housing placement to homeless veterans, job skills training through our Recycling Center, and residential addiction and relapse prevention through the Genesis Recovery and Relapse Prevention Program.
FRM is primarily funded through the gifts of individuals, businesses, civic groups, and churches. We are able to provide services to the homeless of Fairbanks and the surrounding area because of our partners around Alaska. Pick.Click.Give. is an easy way for people to care for those in our community who are without shelter, and often, without hope.
