How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
APFCM has a very small operating budget and almost all costs are currently paid by the volunteers. To become a first responder Chaplain the volunteer must pay for their own uniform, background check, training fees, all associated travel costs, name badges and any printing of forms needed. Voulunteer chaplains also run a free Survivors of Suicide community support group twice a month and APFCM is looking to start a youth support group as well. All food and supplies for the meetings are donated by the volunteers. Additional funds are needed for the APFCM website and brochures along with the items listed above. Currently the chaplain vechicle is not working. Volunteers pay for their own gas when called to a scene. APFCM needs a used car for rotation to on scene calls. APFCM also needs funds to help support the "You are Not Alone" youth suicide prevention outreach and the "Critical Incident Stress Management" Team.
