About Us
The Alaska Engineering Education Foundation's mission is to promote engineering education for K-12 students throughout Alaska.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Funds are used to award scholarship for students studying engineering curriculum in ABET-accredited colleges and universities. Tens of thousands in scholarships were awarded/distributed to Alaska high school seniors. AEEF also administers and funds the Mathcounts program, which is an annual math competition for junior high/middle school students. Mathcounts competitions are held at the local level in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and remote communities. Top competitors are invited to a state-wide competition which is rotated between Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau. The four top students are sent to compete at the national level each spring.
