About Us
The Bartlett Foundation provides resources to enhance and support quality healthcare for Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau Alaska. Because Bartlett Regional Hospital is city-owned, the Foundation's goal is to close any funding gap for needed medical technology, resources, and programs to keep Southeast Alaska on the cutting edge of patient care.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference because it provides another source of contributions that help Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation carry out our mission and take active part in supporting our community hospital.
In 2020 the Bartlett Foundation awarded 9 scholarships to Southeast Alaska students pursuing health sciences careers who have demontrated intent to return to their communities after completion of their studies. The goal of the scholarship program is to enhance access to healthcare in Southeast Alaska by increasing the number of health care professionals in our region. Also in 2020 we provided funding in support of the Emergency Department and Outpatient Psychatric Services COVID-19 response. We also funded a pain management program for inpatients that focuses on managing pain using nonmedication resources. We continue to support Health Matters diabetes education program, which is a proven healthy lifestyle program developed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to help persons with a condition called pre-diabetes avoid developing Type 2 diabetes through food selection, exercise and weight loss. We also continue to provide infant safe sleep baby boxes and educational materials in partnership with other local organizations to help distribute safe sleep resources to rural Southeast Alaska communities.
PickClickGive donations are very important to the Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation in helping us to continue to support and fund programs that enhance quality healthcare for our region.
