Discovery Southeast deepens our connection with nature through education and exploration. We introduce children and families to the outdoors, providing the foundation for lifelong interests, skills, and exploration. At a time when children average seven hours a day in front of digital screens, Discovery Southeast ensures that local children access, appreciate, and enjoy Juneau's stunning natural areas. Our core, hands-on outdoor education programs work with local schools and bring a focus on the sciences. We strive to reach each local child.
