How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
The Seldovia Library is run completely on a volunteer basis and is a central hub for our small community. Though the City of Seldovia does allow the library to reside rent free in a building owned and maintained by them and pays for the library's utility expenses, we depend exclusively on Grants and Fund Raisers to be pay for all library operations, services/programs, and materials. We have an extremely limited budget.
Financial contributions from generous donors through Pick.Click.Give to the Library will help to fund/maintain:
Weekly Story Hours for preschoolers and many other programs for both children and adults (movie nights, video teleconferencing programs, puppet shows, author visits, etc.).
Computer access, software, and internet for students and adults.
Materials (books, movies, magazines) for patrons to enjoy.
Furniture, equipment, and supplies.
