Skeetawk

Skeetawk is a nonprofit, member-driven organization working to bring lift-access downhill skiing, boarding and other alpine sports to Hatcher Pass, Alaska. We are have completed our first phase of development and began lift operation in December of 2020! We were only able to get this far through extensive volunteer hours, local business donations and contributions, local sponsorships, memberships, grants and donations! We look forward to continuing operations and expanding programs involving getting our local youth and families outside and recreating in the mountains. We strive to foster a strong, healthy community that has a deep appreciation for outdoor recreation in the breathtaking mountains of Hatcher Pass!

Every little bit helps! We use every cent that is donated to us to the best of our ability. We support local businesses and contractors wherever possible. We are comprised of volunteers and employ local community members. We have significant capital campaigns in the future; including snow making equipment for season extension, our next chairlift (phase 2!), summer trails, a lodge, etc.
