STAR's Mission is to prevent sexual trauma and provide comprehensive, collaborative crisis intervention, advocacy, and support to victims/survivors, their families and our communities.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Pick. Click. Give. helps STAR provide 24-hour crisis intervention services, therapeutic counseling, legal advocacy, court and medical accompaniment, one-on-one and long-term support for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. All STAR services for survivors are provided free of charge.
Standing Together Against Rape has been specializing in helping Alaska survivors of sexual violence for over 45 years. Every gift, big or small, makes a difference because you make it possible to help survivors heal and allow us to continue providing prevention programs - so that someday, Alaska can be a safer place for all of us.
