Established in 1995, The Alaska Community Foundation (ACF) cultivates, celebrates, and sustains all forms of philanthropy to strengthen Alaska’s communities forever.
Together with our Affiliates, we connect people who care with causes that matter by encouraging and nurturing philanthropy through the building and managing permanent endowments, convening stakeholders and working with partners to strengthen Alaskan communities, and providing donors with flexible giving options that are strategic to their philanthropic objectives.

Your Pick.Click.Give. gift makes it possible for The Alaska Community Foundation to grant $6 million across the state. Your donation will help provide stable support for nonprofits and local communities through grants from permanent endowments and non-endowed funds, and for causes and organizations that you care about.
As a supporter of The Alaska Community Foundation, you take part in a network of giving that reaches more than 600 nonprofits in over 50 communities in Alaska every year. With the help of our ten Affiliate Community Foundations and four Partner Foundations, we identify the issues of our state and the organizations that are working effectively to address needs and expand opportunities. ACF works as a convener – bringing together key Alaskans, nonprofit leaders, and multiple funding sources to effectively respond to complex issues such as suicide prevention, homelessness, domestic violence, and workforce development.
