We are committed to delivering high quality, accessible, affordable early care and education. Healthy communities need working families, and working families need child care.
How Pick.Click.Give. makes a difference
Thrivalaska serves over 5,000 children, families and early educators in Fairbanks and the Northern region of Alaska each year. The majority of families benefiting from our services are at an annual family income level of $30,000 or less. Thrivalaska provides Head Start Birth to Five services, thread Resource and Referral, thread Child Care Assistance, and a before and after school age program at Pearl Creek Elementary. Child care is a necessity - it keeps families working and attending school, and is a fundamental part of the economic fabric of our community. Having Thrivalaska services widely available to the community assists families in finding and affording safe early care and education. The quality of services we envision is intimately linked to adequate funding. We believe Pick.Click.Give will help Thrivalaska preserve a future in Alaska. It will enable us to continue ensuring families, staff, community partners, and providers will receive the highest quality of service.
