Anchorage, Alaska – Alaska nonprofits can now submit applications to participate in the 2017 Pick.Click.Give. campaign. Applications are accepted online and must be submitted annually. The deadline for filing an application is March 31, 2016.

“As Alaskans nonprofits search for new sources of funding, we’ve seen the list of eligible nonprofits grow each year,” said Jason Grenn, Pick.Click.Give. manager at The Alaska Community Foundation. “We’re excited to see another increase in the number of participants in 2017.” A record 640 nonprofits from across Alaska are currently participating in Pick.Click.Give. this year.

Applications to participate in Pick.Click.Give. are not complete until a signature page and the $250 application fee are submitted. Those must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2016. Organizations are encouraged to track those items using certified mail.

“Pick.Click.Give. has become a very popular way for Alaskans to share part of their PFD with a cause they care about. And the program has proven to be great tool for nonprofits to make a greater connection with their community as well.” said Grenn.

For organizations that are new to applying to Pick.Click.Give., a webinar on how to complete the application will be provided on Thursday, March 3rd from 10-10:45 a.m. To register for the free webinar, click here or by calling 907-743-1200.

Even if a nonprofit has qualified for Pick.Click.Give. this year, or in past years, it must re-apply to participate in 2017. More information and answers to frequently asked questions can be found in the “Info for Nonprofits” section on www.PickClickGive.org.
